On September 12, 2015, a handsome looking German Shorthaired Pointer somehow ended up at the Roswell NM city shelter. That dog had been adopted in May, 2015, by a Hispanic woman and her daughter. They both lived in the city of Roswell. The woman admitted the dog, later known as "Lucky", was somehow able to get out of her yard twice. She had been to the Roswell shelter both times to pay and get her dog back home. In September, 2015, yes, the same dog was at the shelter again. A GSP rescue organization did place a "tag" hold on the dog, in the event the owner failed to come get him in the time allotted by the shelter's policies and procedures. Rescues in New Mexico are well aware that if a Roswell impounded dog is not reclaimed, adopted or removed by a rescue, it will be euthanized on the 7th day it is in the shelter.
For reasons not clearly understood, a man named Fred Ellis, who lives in San Tan Valley, AZ, decided he wanted "Lucky" even though he was aware a rescue had already made arrangements to get the dog out of the shelter, if the owner didn't reclaim, and if the dog didn't get adopted. Fred Ellis is not a dog rescuer and he is not affiliated with a dog rescue.

Fred Ellis told his friend Shane Gerstenberger, who lives in the Roswell area, to go to the Roswell Shelter and "get the dog".....Lucky.
Photos of Shane Gerstenberger
On Sept 14, 2015, Shane Gerstenberger commented on Face Book, asking a rescue page administrator if the Roswell shelter wasn't going to contact the owner of Lucky, so they could come get the dog.
On the morning of September 16, 2015, Shane Gerstenberger went to the Roswell Shelter, told the employee at the desk that he WAS the owner of the dog, Lucky, and that he was there to claim the dog and get him out of the shelter. He told the shelter employee that the dog's name was Lucky, and that the dog dug out under a fence. Shane Gerstenberger signed the Roswell city shelter document, saying he was the "owner" of the dog. (see below document)
Interestingly enough, on September 15, 2015, Shane posted on Face Book that he would be "adopting" the dog, and that he was sending the dog to Fred Ellis in Arizona. The dog was actually not available yet, for anyone to adopt it. The owner had til the end of the day, on September 16th to get her dog back. People who adopt dogs at the Roswell Shelter are supposed to keep those dogs. They are not permitted to immediately go and give the dog to someone else.
An inquiry was made by a Colorado resident, Amy Vudures, to the Roswell Police Department, asking them to investigate Shane Gerstenberger and Fred Ellis for theft, and for providing false information on the Roswell city shelter documents. Police Commander Tom Moody was the officer investigating the complaint.
Shane Gerstenberger was questioned and did admit he said he was the owner of the dog, Lucky, though in fact he never did actually own Lucky. He said the clerk at the shelter must have misunderstood him. He said he thought he was adopting the dog from the shelter. (See Roswell Police report below)
Fred Ellis admitted to the Roswell Police that he did have the dog, Lucky, and that he was refusing to return him to the Roswell Shelter.
After Shane Gerstenberger took the dog from the shelter, the dog, Lucky, was immediately sent to the residence of Fred Ellis, in San Tan Valley, Arizona.
Then, during the last part of September, 2015, a woman began communicating with Fred Ellis via Face Book messages and through phone text messages. The woman asked Fred Ellis if "Lucky" was available for adoption and he told her "yes".
The woman explained to Fred Ellis that her husband owned a veterinary clinic and Fred did not need to take the dog to his own vet for a wellness check, as he had suggested earlier. Lucky was known to already be up to date on his vaccinations and rabies shots, from the two prior times he was impounded at the Roswell Shelter, and then picked up by the Hispanic female owner.
(The woman wanting to adopt Lucky has asked that she not be named in this article, for fear of continued threats and harassment by Fred Ellis.)
The woman said Fred Ellis told her the dog could be purchased for $100.00 and he would NOT be providing any sort of bill of sale or ownership transfer paperwork to her. (The reason for this might be, because Fred Ellis knew the dog had been reported stolen, and he did not want his name connected to having sold the stolen dog)
The woman continued communication with Fred Ellis and she let him know that she located a friend in the Phoenix area who could assist her in getting Lucky from him. She stayed in communication with him and let him know that on September 29, 2015, a person would be picking up the dog and giving him $100.00 in cash.
On September 29, 2015, at about 11:30 a.m. Fred Ellis began receiving text messages from a woman named Rose Farley. He was told that she had been sent by the adopter for Lucky and that she was presently available to pick the dog up. Rose Farley told him she did have $100.00 cash for him that was provided to her by the adopter.
Following are some of the texts between the two of them between the times of 11:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Rose: Hello mr ellis.this is rose farley. Did you tell ##### where we are meeting? I am free right now.
Fred: I am still at work not sure what time I get done.
Rose: ok I will just wait at your house on the street. Thank you. ##### sent me cash by western union. I will make a receipt.
Fred: How do you know where I live
Rose: ##### gave me the address I think she did a internet people search
Fred: Kinda freaks me out. I just had trouble last Friday with people coming through my gate.
Rose: Oh, wow...I'm sorry.
Fred: I thought we were doing this tomorrow.
Rose: No, today.
(Two hours later) Rose: My car is overheating. (No response from Fred Ellis)
Rose: Money is in an envelope on the front door.
(Another hour later) Fred: You took the dog without my permission
Fred Ellis began to sent threatening text messages to the adopter, who called Rose Farley and warned her. The adopter was becoming afraid of Fred Ellis. She told Rose Farley that Fred Ellis was now calling her, making threats, saying he was coming to her home. He was apparently angry that he was not home when the dog got picked up. The dog had been in the yard, and Rose Farley got him through an unlocked gate. The adopter called the police where she lived. They responded to her home. Fred Ellis did call the adopter while the police were at her home. She handed them the phone and an officer did talk to Fred Ellis. He was argumentative and belligerent toward them. He was ordered to quit calling her, or communicating with her in any manner, and he was told he is not welcome on her property.
Rose Farley reached out to several dog rescuers in Arizona, as she was not sure what to do with the dog, as Fred Ellis had already been paid by the adopter. She was fearful for her safety also, after hearing how Fred Ellis was behaving toward the adopter and the police at the adopter's house. She was instructed to go to a rescue in Texas, and they would take possession of the dog.
Rose Farley did leave the dog Lucky with a non profit dog rescue in Texas. She had no further involvement with the dog, the adopter, or Fred Ellis from that day forward.
At around 2:53 p.m. on that same day, September 29th, Fred Ellis called the Pinal County Sheriff's Department. The dispatcher advised the responding officers that Fred Ellis was threatening to "kill people".
Below is the Sheriff's report from that day:
On October 8, 2015, Fred Ellis started a Facebook page called: Has Anyone seen Lucky? This was one of his postings, on October 9, 2015: (grammar has not been corrected) https://www.facebook.com/Stolemyluck/posts/1212235088793549
I'm ready to tell everyone what has happened, not just the tragic day Lucky went missing, but beginning from the year 2008. I'm pretty much old school , I also kind of March to the beat of a different drum. This isn't personal, but sometimes others can take it that way, especially when I say what iss exactly on my mind!, like get your head out of your ass, you did want the truth didn't you? Iv met people over the years in rescue, lots of people, lots I liked some I didn't, but I never let it come between me and what I'm driven to do for these pointers. I don't know where any of you get off saying I'm not good to my dogs, or that I don't treat them well, I cannot remember any of you visiting me, because if you came to my house you would see that my dogs, my fosters, and my own dogs are treated like my family, they sleep with me at night, they follow me from room to room, I play outside with them, I feed and water them, and on a daily basis there's three or four I tell that I'm taking straight back to the shelter they came from! Its a joke! I couldn't ever part with them. , contrary to some opinions, if you came and spent one day at my home , you wouldn't believe any five year old email, and you would be very sorry you were so quick to judge, you might even find a friend in me if you could bring yourself to stop trying to take me down. All things are possible I believe .
I got a phone call a week before Lucky disappeared, the lady was in Colorado, she wanted to know when she could send someone out to pick him up, she wanted to adopt him. I explained Lucky was not ready he had a vet appointment later in the next week and it would prob b Nov before he would be ready for a new home., I had other dogs that had been waiting for a long time and were ready, the lady didn't want tibhear that she acted as if I hadn't said a word. She went on to explain that she had one of her assistants that would b in Arizona early next week, she would send her by to adopt Lucky for her. I tried explaining once more but was cut off quickly, I had met people like this before, you know the kind that wont take no for an answer. I wasn't worried however , she didn't know my address and i didn't give it to her.
September 29th I got off work around 1:30 pm and headed for the house, I was going to let the dogs out and check on Morgan, he hadn't been feeling well. , he was older guy and I noticed the night before he wasn't himself. I get home and the front door is wide open, the dogs are running about and I just assumed one of them, I won't mention any names but he has been known to open a door or two! As i approached the door I could tell something was very wrong. And where was Lucky? Morgan was asleep on the dog bed in the living room and Patch was looking a little concerned, worried, he was almost hiding behind the chair. There were tiny pieces of wood all over the front room and as i investigated more it was apparent the door had been kicked in, the lock busted, my home had been invaded, my dogs traumatized,, and I felt so violated, and even worse Lucky was gone, he had been stolen
I called the police they came out and filled a report. There was a shotgun missing as well as a tablet. I told the police about the phone conversation I had with the woman from Colorado,I showed them the text messages she had sent me early that morning. I texed her in front of the police she said she would check with the lady she had sent to pick up Lucky that she never intended for it to happen this way, she texted that the lady she sent wasn't her regular assistant, she was another trainers,, another horse trainers , that is.
Going round and round with this lady was not helping and at this point I heard enough, I was going to leave it up to the police. I went back over to the door other was a voice of paper behind it and an envelope I opened the envelope and there was a 100 dollar bill inside the paper was a hand written receipt, I'll post it in the comments. I thought to myself you have got to b kidding me!!!!! The police said they would get back to me, Lucky was gone, something was wrong with patch and the next morning Morgan was dead.
If any of you can help me, it will b by sharing this page. Its important to get this out so it doesn't happen again, I intend to expose the women responsible , for everyone's safety, you don't break in to anyone's home and take anything that belongs to someone else. . Please help me get lucky back, you can pm this page if you see him or know where he is
********************************************************************************
As is apparent on the Pinal County police report, Fred Ellis never mentioned to the deputies on September 29th, that he had a shot gun and a tablet stolen. He never mentioned that ANY of his dogs were injured or killed. His front door was working fine that day, as the deputy stated in his report. Fred even declined help "tracking" his I-pad by the police, so it could be easily located and returned to him. He also did not name any suspects that day.
From that day on, September 29, 2015, Fred Ellis has been harassing and blaming seven women by phone, by Face Book messaging, and by texting, claiming they are the person(s) who came and got Lucky from his property. These seven women include Lisa Shipman, Clare Wingfield, Minnie Bueno, Amy Vudures, the woman adopter and two other women who do not want their names made public. All of these women are in dog rescue, and all of them have NO dealings with Fred Ellis, because of his prior irresponsible/reckless actions and volatile behavior. Fred Ellis has never given the Pinal County Sheriff's Department any of the seven names, except the adopter and Minnie Bueno, who did speak with the police, saying she believed Fred Ellis had made up the entire story. Every one of these women can prove where they were that day, and Fred Ellis has refused to quit harassing them and making outrageous accusations. Most of the seven women have not received any calls from the police, to be interviewed. They all have indicated they are willing to speak to the police about this event.
Two of the women have had to retain the services of an attorney to get a number of articles, postings, petitions and stories removed from Face Book and other web pages. Fred Ellis has ignored the attorney's repeated communications to cease and desist with his defamatory allegations and false accusations. It remains to be seen if he will remove all the libelous statements he has posted, or has asked others to post. It is the intent of the above two women to file a civil lawsuit against him if this matter is not resolved in a satisfactory manner.
Of particular interest is Fred's own statement on October 9th, that a dog named Morgan was killed, not a dog named Patches. He has never said anything to the police about any of his dogs being killed, and he has never provided any vet documents/statements, that show he took an injured dog to the vet, and that it had to be euthanized. He has claimed to a number of people that his front door was completely "kicked in, off it hinges", yet the police stated the door was fine the day the report was initiated. He has claimed he has video surveillance of the event, yet he has never provided it, or made the police aware it existed. He also has claimed he has eye witnesses to the events of September 29th, but he has never provided any names, or made the police aware that witnesses existed.
There are many people who do know Fred Ellis. He is considered a dog hoarder. He is not and has never been a "rescuer". He has many GSP dogs, and he has had to have many, in the past, be rescued FROM him. He does not and has never taken proper care of his dogs. They are generally underweight, dirty, they have toe nails that are too long, and they have health and medical issues because they are not taken to the vet often enough.
This article is meant to clear up any questions that people may have about some of the women Fred Ellis is harassing and blaming for this "event" that apparently never actually happened. The only thing that is certain, is that he agreed to sell a dog, the dog was picked up, he didn't happen to be home, he did get paid and he did get a receipt for the purchase of the dog.
The following photographs are of some dogs that Fred Ellis surrendered to rescue when it was discovered he was not taking proper care of them. These photos were taken a day before they were removed from his property.
(Noah had un-treated pancreas issues) |
Do people think things are better since Fred Ellis had the dogs taken from him by that rescue? He has accumulated many more GSP dogs. The following photos were taken the summer of 2015:
Fred Ellis does have a criminal history that is available for the public to view on line. He does have felonies on his record, to include theft and assault.
Here is a statement provided by one woman, Clare Wingfield, who is willing to have her name posted in this article.
In Spring 2015, I was contacted by a man in Roswell (via a third party) who had “found” two GSPs-- a male and a female. He asked that rescue (I am with NM GSP Rescue) take the two dogs since he was unable to contain and properly care for them. I agreed and started making inquiries about getting the dogs vetted and transported to NW New Mexico. I was then told that the dogs were going to Fred Ellis in the Phoenix area because the man thought that he would be a great GSP rescue and he thought the dogs would be in good hands there. Knowing that Fred is not a valid rescuer and his dogs live in questionable conditions (from former personal experiences with him/dogs in his “care”), I continued to make plans and to try and get the dogs sent to NM rescue. During this time, the dogs escaped and were picked up by Animal Control in Roswell. The dogs were called Shy and Lucky by the man (Shane Gerstenberger) in Roswell. At some point in his travels, Lucky had injured his eye. The eye was removed when Lucky was taken in to be neutered by a separate group of “rescuers” (I was told about this by another party). The two dogs, while in the Roswell Shelter, were “tagged” for rescue via “Un-caged Paws”. They planned to sign the dogs over to NM GSP Rescue. At the time of release, a female resident of Roswell adopted Lucky, and so he did not go to “rescue”. The female dog was sent to a temporary foster home in SW NM while we made plans for her to be transported to an approved foster home for NM GSP Rescue in the NW part of the state. After a couple of weeks, it became obvious that the female dog was pregnant.
While with the new adoptive owner, Lucky escaped the home and was picked up by Animal Control in Roswell a couple of times. The woman retrieved him and paid the fines/fees to bring him home. The last time he escaped and was taken to the shelter, she did not go to retrieve him. I made plans with a couple of people to tag him for adoption or rescue. On the day prior to his release date, Shane Gerstenburger, at the urging of Fred Ellis (It was in a public thread on the Roswell FB pages), went to the shelter, claimed to be Lucky’s owner, and paid the $40 fee to get him out. He then had Lucky sent to Fred Ellis in Phoenix.
Legally, Shane had no rights of ownership to Lucky, and records should have been available to confirm that because the woman who adopted him initially had legally retrieved Lucky from the shelter on a couple of occasions, and was the owner on record. Because Lucky “acted” like Shane was his owner, the receptionist at the shelter took Shane’s word for ownership and did not check the dog’s history or require legal proof of ownership from Shane before releasing the dog. The dog had been “tagged” by at least two people to be adopted the next day.
A concerned volunteer for rescue contacted Roswell PD and filed a complaint. Lucky had basically been “stolen” from the shelter by Shane Gerstenberger for Fred Ellis. The Police did investigate and found that Lucky had already gone to Arizona to Fred Ellis. The authorities in AZ were made aware of the situation.
A party who had wanted to adopt Lucky contacted Underdog Rescue in AZ when Lucky showed up for adoption on their website. They gave the potential adopter the contact information for Fred Ellis and explained that they were merely doing a “courtesy posting” for Fred Ellis via their rescue website. The party filled out their adoption application and contacted Fred Ellis. Fred Ellis agreed to give them Lucky for $100. He told them that there was “no paperwork” needed. Fred Ellis told that party that he still needed to take Lucky to the vet, but then agreed to let the “adopter” do that in Colorado instead because she had been able to get someone who could transport within a couple of days. The party made arrangements with a transporter to meet with Fred and pick up the dog. All of this had been agreed-to by Fred Ellis (I have seen the texts and emails myself).
I spoke with the transporter (Rose Farley) to warn her about Fred and let her know to just give him the money and leave with the dog. The transporter called me when she arrived because Fred did not provide her with a meeting place after agreeing to meet her with the dog. She then “googled” Fred and drove to the address she found for him. She texted with Fred who told her he was at work and couldn’t meet her. He became irate when she told him she was at his residence waiting for him. She relayed the information to me. The property was pretty bad….the fencing was not good, the home and yard were in deplorable condition (according to the transporter) and there were no locks or signs in-place. Lucky and several other dogs were in the yard. The transporter waited for quite a while, and when Fred Ellis still did not show up and failed to answer her texts, she left a receipt and $100 on the door and then loaded Lucky onto her vehicle for transport. She said that Lucky and the other dogs were very friendly and did not mind her going to the door where she attached the receipt and money where Fred would easily see it. The transporter did not knock or try to go into the home (there would have been no reason to do that!). She texted Fred Ellis and told him that she had left his money, receipt and had gotten Lucky out of the yard because she could no longer wait in the hot temperatures and would not be able to make the trip again (Lucky was going to northern Colorado to his new home).
Because there was an agreement already in-place for the “adoption” (SALE!) and transport, there was no ill intention on the part of the adopter or the transporter. I was merely a third party who had previous interest in rescuing the dog and in making sure he was placed in an appropriate home. I was very concerned about the transporter’s welfare and safety because of my own past experiences with Fred Ellis, who is known for harassing and threatening anyone who questions him about his dogs. The dogs I (or rescue associates of mine) have had to care for in the past (there have been over 30 of them) who were formerly at Fred’s place were all in dire need of good nutrition, vet care and TLC. Some had terminal and other serious health issues that had NEVER been addressed by Fred Ellis. ALL were obviously abused by someone and all were lacking basic care including tick and flea removal, internal parasite removal, bathing, ear care and nail trimming. In my opinion, Fred is a definition-true “HOARDER”.
After starting the transport with Lucky, the transporter received messages from the adopter in Colorado that Fred was calling and texting her and accusing her of “stealing” Lucky. She (the adopter/buyer) became very afraid (even though she had done nothing wrong or inappropriate) because of Fred’s abusive and vulgar language/threats and asked the transporter to leave Lucky at the nearest shelter or Police Department. At this point, the transporter’s phone went straight to voice mail and I had no further contact with her.
I received a call from a deputy from Pinal County. I recounted the story as stated above and also told him that Lucky had initially been “stolen” from the Roswell Shelter via Fred Ellis and Shane Gerstenberger. The deputy told me that he had that report from Roswell PD on his desk. He also told me that he had responded to the “theft” call and all he saw was that Fred had sold a dog. He said the woman had left the money and a receipt and everything else looked “in order”. I gave the deputy the phone number I had for the transporter (who was someone I had not formerly used and did not know personally). I told him that my involvement was (as above) and told him that I knew of a few restraining orders filed by others against Fred over the last five years. I also told him that I had been harassed and threatened with death/bodily harm by Fred Ellis in 2011 and since then as well. I told him I had been concerned about the welfare of Lucky and had tried to get him into my rescue program. When that failed, I had let others know that Lucky would eventually show up as “for adoption” and DID tell those interested parties where to watch for him. My only concern was for the welfare of the dog. When an adopter (who IS known to me!) decided to contact Fred Ellis to adopt, I warned them about Fred Ellis and then allowed her to give the transporter my phone number so I could also give her fair warning about what to expect.
There was nothing done with any intention other than to get Lucky into a great home rather than have him become one of the neglected AND abused dogs at Fred Ellis’ place. I would do my part again. There were no plans or efforts to “steal” Lucky. If that had been the scenario, wouldn’t all the dogs there have been taken? Why take only one dog if the “so-called plan” was to save dogs from Fred Ellis? It would be nice to know that no other animals were there with him, but there was no “plan” or conspiracy involved (as Fred Ellis and his “friends” who write petitions and put up blogs and Facebook pages about it, would have people believe). If there was some plan to “steal” Lucky, why leave the money that had been agreed upon by Fred Ellis and the “adopter/buyer”?
After the incident, Fred and his “friends” started making accusations and putting up Facebook posts, blogs and petitions that further accused the transporter, adopter and me of stealing “his” dog Lucky, breaking down his door, injuring two dogs that led to their deaths and also stealing a gun and a computer…
The police report states that Fred Ellis did say that a gun and a computer were missing, but he could not provide any serial numbers or other proof of ownership or even the existence of those items.
Fred Ellis told me (personally) back in 2011, that he was a convicted felon…..(if so, convicted felons aren’t allowed to have firearms)….
The police report ALSO STATES that Fred Ellis had no paperwork or any other proof of ownership on Lucky, the dog in question. The reports from both Roswell and AZ were/are “CLOSED CASES”. (Can’t have a “case” if there was no crime committed).
The Roswell authorities did investigate the initial complaint regarding Lucky’s release from the shelter, and DID try to get the dog returned to the shelter in order for him to go to the original person who had tagged the dog to adopt him. The original person who was supposed to adopt him (a former volunteer for GSP Rescue) was also called and threatened by Fred Ellis.
Fred Ellis called police in many jurisdictions, harassed and threatened the “adopter/buyer” as well as her family and business, and he accused/threatened/harassed at least seven people of being the transporter/thief/dog killer. When he accused Minnie Bueno in Alamogordo, NM (also accusing her of being the transporter), she told him that it was me and another rescuer (Amy) who had planned the theft and had stolen Lucky. She has been a temporary foster home for my rescue in the past, but I had the dogs removed from her care after doing a back-ground check on her (also a convicted felon) and having received first-hand witness reports about the MANY dogs in her home who were not getting proper attention or care. I never confronted or accused her of this, but got the dogs moved since I didn’t have first-hand knowledge about her home. She had been referred as a temporary foster home by others in rescue that I had trusted. One had been to her home and reported that it was a good place where the animals were well cared for. Minnie Bueno is not a person to be trusted. She is disgruntled about my rescue because I had dogs removed from her “care”. She is disgruntled about Amy because Amy stopped supporting her rescue (she had paid off many bills for Minnie). The people who are Fred Ellis’ friends and supporters are of suspect reputation, in my opinion. If any of them have ever actually been to Fred Ellis’ home, they would know what he is and would know that he should never have another animal under his “care”. Those who claim to have been to the Ellis home are either liars or are as bad (ethically/morally) as is Ellis.
I have endured years of lies, harassment and threats stemming from Fred Ellis and his deranged “friends”. It is time now to tell the truth. I have not come forward in this manner before now because I have refused to add to the drama induced by Fred Ellis’ claims and lies. I have nothing to prove, especially to the likes of this man and to ANYONE who falls for his line of lies and evil. I do not have to fabricate or make up lies and stories like Fred Ellis does. This last fiasco created and fabricated by Fred Ellis will finally separate the truth from lies. It will allow me to see who is real in the rescue world and who are the fake “rescuers”, like Ellis, who are looking only for drama and self -acceptance. My circle of rescue associates is small and trusted. There is no room for unethical, immoral and abusive individuals such as this man who is a master at only harassing innocent people who he is afraid will “call him out”. He is a bully and a predator who preys on others in order to feed his own self-esteem (or lack there-of) and narcissistic, grandiose personality. I pray for the animals who are UN-lucky enough to end up in his grasp.

And this is a statement from Amy Vudures:
I've had a number of rescue people ask me what the weird outrageous stories are, that this ignorant man is posting. Too many times I've had to tell them to just reserve judgement on everyone mentioned, as the REAL TRUTH would come out. So, the police reports should pretty much explain it all, right? Fred Ellis never told any cops that a dog got hurt or killed. And he says in his first "I'm ready to tell everyone what happened" post that a dog named Morgan got killed? And then he changes it to say it was a dog named Patches? Hey Fred! You need to delete the older stories you posted if you're gonna totally change what you tell people. And why not post some vet documents, Ok? To show that a dog of yours got euthanized. You can't because you know it never happened. And if your stupid front door was kicked off it's hinges, as you claimed, why did the cops say the door was "fine" while they were there taking the report from you? And since when wouldn't a person want the cops to track their stolen I-Pad so it could be found? Really? And where is your video tape of the burglar breaking into your house? You never told the cops you had a video. You claimed it was "a Mexican girl" who did this, remember? Who are all your "witnesses" you claim saw the burglar break down your door? Why aren't these witnesses in the police report? And what is your beef anyway, in this whole thing? You told a lady she could adopt/buy that dog, so she did. Why were you pissed that she sent someone to get the dog? She paid you. Tough shit if you weren't home, you knew they were coming to get the dog.
And people, this jerk has called my house repeatedly, I finally had to unplug the phone from the wall. I told him where I was at the time he claims I was at his place. I was in Colorado, not in Arizona, Fred! Go and ask the people I was with! You've already been told numerous times, I had nothing to do with this!
I've never met him, never been to his dump of a house, and never want to be. Until all this crap, I've never even talked to him, or had any communication with him what-so-ever. He is clearly a habitual liar and is making up shit to get people to feel sorry for him or something. He accused seven different women, all rescue people he "doesn't like" of stealing the dog. He doesn't like anyone who happens to be friends of his "enemies". I did get a whole bunch of Fred Ellis crap off FaceBook that he posted about me. He is breaking the law, and if he doesn't stop, I will sue him.
Minnie Bueno even said to the police, he was making up the whole story, to get attention or money maybe? Not sure why she is on his band-wagon now, except that I quit paying her vet bills and I quit trying to help her get her dogs to other responsible rescues. She is a liar, as big as he is, right now, and I would warn anyone to not trust her. She has no job, and no money, and I got tired of her complaining that she couldn't find a job with a felony record. I did nothing but try to help the dogs she had at her place, and she just kept getting more. I am not on FaceBook every day, trashing or bad mouthing her and I leave her alone. The people she is associating with will see how she is after a while. I don't regret spending money for her dogs, but she doesn't appreciate it. So I had to stop helping her.
All this false mean crap Fred Ellis is posting needs to stop now. I am hoping the people who are wondering what Fred Ellis's rants are all about will read this whole story and see what a nut case he is. He is not a rescuer, and has never been. He wanted to get rid of Lucky cuz he knew he had Lucky stolen from Roswell for him. He didn't want to give any paperwork to the adopter? Yeah, cuz he knew that could be used against him.
And this isn't the first time he has had a dog stolen for him either. A new stolen dog story (involving him) will be coming out very soon too. Fred Ellis, why are you stealing dogs from people? Ask him. Ask him what this is all about:
Look at all the sick, pitiful dogs he had taken from him. He doesn't care about the dogs. He only cares about his ego and belonging to a "group". To the people who think they know him, think again. Don't support his bull crap. And don't send dogs to him. They will have a miserable life with him. Can't people see that? This story will be posted on about 20 different rescue sites, so everyone will know before long, what a creep and a liar this guy is. He needs to give all his dogs to responsible rescues and go find another hobby that doesn't involve living, breathing creatures.
Fred Ellis is not a VICTIM of anything, except his own ignorance. Tell him to shut his pie hole and quit lying.
